It won’t a very long post today, as there isn’t that much to tell!
I have now received several letters from the hospital for appointments. The first one is the dating scan / down’s test to take place on December 5th (a bit later than I would have liked, but I won’t complain! I called to try to move it and the only other available day was even worse -less convenient- for me…)
I also have a foetal anomaly scan in January, an antenatal appointment with Mr O’Sullivan in February, and a glucose tolerance test in March… I’m going to need to buy a big calendar to hang in the kitchen so I don’t forget about any appointments!
And not much more to tell… I have been feeling ok, no nagging pains or headaches.. The only downside is still being quite tired all the time. It takes me forever to get up in the mornings and then I leave late for work, encountering bad traffic on the motorway – which is not great.
The whole “twins” issue still scares me. Jon and I watched a video the other night from an association called Tamba, who specialises in multiples births. The video consisted of interviews to lots of couples who have had twins or triplets, and they were relating their experience throughout pregnancy, birth and the first few months with their babies. The video was really interesting and a real eye-opener… Obviously what scares me the most is the delivery and coping with both on my own… (although I won’t be on my own all the time… both my mum and my mother in law have already offered to come and stay to give me a hand if I need to…)
And not much to report for now… More news soon!
🙂
