This is going to be a short post, since it’s Friday evening, it’s been a very long week, and I need some chillax time! (Plus Jon wants us to watch a film in the living room as we seem to have abandoned that room and moved completely to live in the bedroom… ah, the beauty of having a TV and blu ray in the bedroom 😀 )
The highlights of this week have been the kicking and the cravings:
Kicking
I already mentioned it briefly in my 19 week update: I can feel the babies moving! The funny thing is that they seem to be getting into a habit of moving / kicking at approximately the same time every day. I’ve got a feeling that they don’t like me driving, as I’ve noticed them moving / kicking everytime that I am driving home in the evening after work. More often than not it will be at about 17.15 or 17.30 pm.
The first time that I noticed them moving whilst driving was so funny! I was driving along the M3 to my way to Basingstoke, and I was approximately near the Hook exit.. and they started moving. A lot. And it was kind of ticklish, so I got really distracted thinking about the whole concept of them moving, and kicking, them being tight down there, etc.. So distracted that I completely missed my exit on the motorway!
Unfortunately, they haven’t moved yet whilst in the presence of Jon, but I am sure that he will have plenty of time to feel them kick!
Cravings
Lately I have been eating lots of Sugar Puffs with milk. This is odd for me because I do NOT eat cereals with milk. Not ever. However, I saw the sugar puffs on offer at Tesco and decided I fancied them… and I’ve been having two or three bowls a day. That is a lot for me.
The other one is cheese and ham toasties. I’ve been having them for lunch almost everyday for the last two weeks. We have a sandwich toaster at work and I decided to take it out of the cupboard after a couple of years of not being used. And I am eating two sandwiches every lunchtime… They are so tasty!
Well, I don’t think they are cravings as in “I long or last to eat something”… I have never woken up at two am. thinking: “I must eat a toastie” or “I need a bowl of cereals”… But it’s the fact that I fancy eating them so much that makes me classify them as cravings…
On other stories… I am afraid that I have not been very “stable” this week… My moods have gone up and down like a yo-yo… And I haven’t been the easiest of people to be round. But I would like to think that all is forgiveable and nobody will take it into account! Also, I have noticed that I swear a lot, and it’s a bad bad habit that I need to get rid of before Pixie and Dixie arrive!
And here’s my weekly update:
